The Cedar Key Water and Sewer District provides water and sewer services to the Cedar Key islands in Levy County, Florida.

The District Board holds its regular meetings on the second Monday of every month at the District Offices, 510 Third Street, Cedar Key, Florida.

The District was established by the Florida Legislature and operates pursuant to a Charter enacted as state law. 

Under its charter the District has the authority to provide water and sewer service to the area within its juridiction, to levy ad valorem taxes, to set and collect rates for services, and to enact Regulations relating to the provision of water and sewer services.
